Clarify with WHO on first date of lab confirmation #71

What is the definition of "lab" (are home tests, etc. included)? Is non-lab confirmation allowed (if so, what are those confirmations)?

Are lower specificity tests recognized?

Are there issues around "first"?

The main question is around whether it's a general concept representing any type of lab test, or whether it's meant to be specific for: 1) confirmatory tests (versus screening); and 2) testing done in the laboratory (versus home testing). The other questions are whether it's specific for molecular/antigen testing (versus antibody), and whether it might be broadened to include any diagnostic test, such as chest xray.
