Technical Overview

The OpenFlightHPC User Suite would both compliment and introduce new functionality to the OpenHPC project.

The user suite provides:

A portable, self-contained Ruby environment (flight-runway)
Command entrypoint to subsequent add-on tools (flight-runway)
A tool for managing the state of the Flight environment (flight-starter)
A tool for creating and managing local and global software environments (flight-env)
A tool for creating and managing virtual VNC desktops (flight-desktop)
