openhpid in a loop with OA 4.21 during re-discovery #2538

During the re-discovery process openhpi enters a loop where all the resources are getting discovered, followed by a pipe error, followed by complete re-discovery. Looks like the event thread is unable to complete the call with OA. This happens with OA 4.21 but not with older OA's like OA 4.01 or before
