Wyze V2 Not Connecting #114

Hello,

I am attempting to get OpenIPC working on a Wyze v2 that I purchased this week. However, it appears to not be connecting to my WiFi. Here are the steps I've taken.

  1. Download the v2 directory to my sd card
  2. Modified the wpa_supplicant.conf.dist and saved as wpa_supplicant.conf
  3. Powered off camera, inserted card, held button and booted until light turned blue
  4. Waited until light turns orange --> Doesn't connect to my WiFi

Troubleshooting

  1. I've downloaded and reverted to the older Wyze firmware and repeated the process.
  2. I've used a different WiFi network with only alphanumeric in the SSID and password

Any additional ideas on how to fix would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[*] Renaming wpa_supplicant.conf.dist in finder apparently doesn't remove the .dist. Did it in terminal and it fixed the problem and connected.
