Hello human, I'm @whedon, a robot that can help you with some common editorial tasks. @labarba it looks like you're currently assigned as the editor for this paper :tada:
For a list of things I can do to help you, just type:
@whedon commands
Attempting PDF compilation. Reticulating splines etc...
:wave: @labarba - the submitting author suggested you as the handling editor. Feel free to suggest another JOSS editor if you're not able to handle this submission.
I'm excited for the review (and glad the pdf seems to be generated fine). Thanks for starting the process!
I would suggest @arghdos, @jmbr, or @mgalloy as reviewers because they all seem to have experience with GPGPU and CUDA.
There were other reviewers with this experience as well, but I couldn't seem to find notify them here on github (not found with the @
symbol). These would be mabraham, adam-m-jcbs, and markbasham.
In addition, anyone who does physics solvers, scientific computing, or differential equations could also handle this; however, GPGPU is a bit difficult to deal with for people who do not know it, so I would suggest exhausting the GPGPU developers first before moving on to other areas of scientific software development.
I'm not available for refereeing for the next 2-3 weeks. Feel free to notify me after that if necessary.
Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as @jmbr -- finishing up my thesis, and won't be available for at least a few weeks.
I can do this.
Thank you, @mgalloy -- I will assign you now, but am looking for a second reviewer before starting the review. Stay tuned.
@whedon assign @mgalloy as reviewer
OK, the reviewer is @mgalloy
@whedon add @markbasham as reviewer
OK, @markbasham is now a reviewer
@whedon start review
OK, I've started the review over in https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/1037. Feel free to close this issue now!
