@melissawm @lheagy @mjsottile @xuanxu despite this potentially being a bit outside of your domain of expertise, would one of you be able to edit this one? Thanks.

mjsottile commented 4 years ago

I have to pass - I'd like to finish taking the first two papers I was assigned through the process before taking on an additional one.

shirubana commented 4 years ago

Environmental/Earth or atmospheric sciences, and/or optics people might be a good match too, as well as renewable energy~ how about @wholmgren and/or @sarats ? Thank you all!

kthyng commented 4 years ago

Hi @katyhuff would you be up for editing this submission?

melissawm commented 4 years ago

If no one is available, I can do it despite perhaps not being able to give specific feedback on the ideas.

@melissawm That would be great! Thanks for taking it on.

katyhuff commented 4 years ago

@kthyng Sorry for the slow response! Thanks @melissawm for stepping up!

danielskatz commented 4 years ago

Thanks @melissawm! (for what it's worth, when you volunteer, you can then tell @whedon to assign you as editor, as I'm going to do in the next comment; you don't need an AEiC to do this.

danielskatz commented 4 years ago

@whedon assign @melissawm as editor

whedon commented 4 years ago

OK, the editor is @melissawm

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@sgrieve would you be willing to review this for JOSS? Thanks! (sorry, I didn't realize you were assigned to another paper. If that's too much please let me know and I'll find someone else, thanks!)

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@wholmgren would you be available to review this software paper for JOSS? Thank you!

wholmgren commented 4 years ago

@melissawm yes I can

sgrieve commented 4 years ago

@melissawm I'm afraid this is a little outside my area of expertise, so I wouldn't be able to review this one.

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@dalonsoa would you be willing/available to review this software paper for JOSS? Thank you.

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@whedon assign @wholmgren as reviewer

whedon commented 4 years ago

OK, the reviewer is @wholmgren

dalonsoa commented 4 years ago

Just to be sure, I don't need to review anything, right? I can do it, I juts want to confirm if I have to or not.

melissawm commented 4 years ago

Hi @dalonsoa , JOSS usually requires (at least) two reviewers, and currently we only have one associated with this review. If you are available, we would welcome your review! If that's the case, just let me know and I'll assign you as reviewer and open the REVIEW issue. Thank you!

dalonsoa commented 4 years ago

I'm available and happy to help, so count me in!

melissawm commented 4 years ago

Thanks, @dalonsoa !

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@whedon add @dalonsoa as reviewer

whedon commented 4 years ago

OK, @dalonsoa is now a reviewer

melissawm commented 4 years ago

@whedon start review

whedon commented 4 years ago

OK, I've started the review over in https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/1865. Feel free to close this issue now!
