:wave: @jamesfolberth & @Nikunj-Gupta,
would any of you be willing to review this submission for JOSS?
JOSS is a free, open-source, community driven and developer-friendly online journal (no publisher is seeking to raise revenue from the volunteer labor of researchers!).
The review process at JOSS is unique: it takes place in a GitHub issue, is open, and author-reviewer-editor conversations are encouraged.
The checklist-driven reviews involve downloading and installing the software, and inspecting the repository and submitted short paper for key elements. See https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/review_criteria.html
Editors and reviewers post comments on the Review issue, and authors respond to the comments and improve their submission until acceptance (or withdrawal, if they feel unable to satisfy the review).
If you cannot review, can you recommend someone from your team to help out?
Kind regards, Dana Solav
Thanks for the invite, but I have no time this month for a review. Hope you find someone, if it's still pending in mid-June, feel free to ping me again.
@aquilesC just reaching out to see if you have some spare time to do the review?
Thanks, Eric
👋 @jamesfolberth, @Nikunj-Gupta, @THUHoloLab, @julianstirling, @monakhova, @aquilesC Checking again if you would be willing to review this software submission, or if you could suggest another person who would be a good fit for this review? Thanks!
Hi Dana, I'm sorry, but I've been much busier than expected and this keeps slipping off my to-do list. I have an MS student who might be able/interested in taking it on. I'll forward to them and see if they can help out.

Hi All, I am unfortunately over-subscribed so I need to pass this along to a student of mine. Richard Oliveira, cc'd, has offered to help with the review. If you're still looking for reviewers feel free to add him.

@antipa, thank you for following up on this. Can you please share Richard's GitHub username or email?
@danasolav, I had an email exchange with Vivek Boominathan, and he kindly agreed to review the paper as well. His GitHub username is @vboomi.

@danasolav I've gotten Richard's email from Nick: richard.a.oliveira1998@gmail.com
@ebezzam I emailed him last week but he hasn't responded. @antipa could you please ask him, or recommend someone else from your group? Thank you for your patience. I apologize that it is taking so long to find reviewers for this submission. It is normally not the case.
Hello, I'm Richard. Apologies for the late comment, when I was initially informed of this, the email has gotten lost or I may have not received it. I can review the paper, that is what is needed correct?
