Looks like an interesting submission but I'm at capacity currently I'm afraid.

Assigned! @oliviaguest is now the editor

oliviaguest commented 8 months ago

@xillig I am sorry things are taking so long, I am wondering why we are so over-capacity at JOSS. I will address this by handling this myself. ☺️

oliviaguest commented 8 months ago

@cjbarrie @mkearney @n3mo @julianmcauley do any/all of you have the time/capacity to review this, please? 😊

n3mo commented 8 months ago

This would be my first time reviewing for the journal, but if you still need someone I would be happy to help.

cjbarrie commented 8 months ago

Hi All. Sorry for slowness. I'm happy to do this. One Q before I begin: not sure how I would go about testing the Twitter connection now the the API is paid?

Hello @cjbarrie, Thank you for bringing this to my attention. In my previous assessment, the Twitter streaming feature's API was free and operational. However, the current cost of approximately $5000 per month as you mentioned for utilizing the API with multiple filters which unaffordable for me. I am unsure about your testing approach, but unless an alternative solution is identified, I may have to consider removing the reference to this feature from the paper.
