@jucordero thanks for making those changes. I will now be looking for a handling editor. Note however that many editors are busy handling other submissions. I've therefore waitlisted this submission for now. We will assign an editor as soon as one becomes available.
@fraukewiese this sounds like it might be your cup of tea. However, I see you are handling several other submissions already. Do you think this submission is something you could help with once you are available? Also, let me know if we could perhaps assign it to you now, and then leave it waitlisted until you are available.
@Kevin-Mattheus-Moerman Thanks! Quick question: Is it okay to modify the .md for the paper at this stage? Some coauthors have provided updated ORCID numbers and affiliations.
@jucordero Yes, that is absolutely fine. You can call @editorialbot generate pdf
here in a comment to update the paper draft then as well.
@editorialbot generate pdf

@dfm do you think that your data science expertise would allow you to help edit this one?
Or perhaps @fraukewiese?
@Kevin-Mattheus-Moerman unfortunately I can't help with this one since we have a backlog over in the AASS track too that I'll need to cover. Sorry!
@editorialbot invite @fraukewiese as editor
Invitation to edit this submission sent!
Thank you for the invitation. Sounds super interesting but currently I cannot edit any additional papers before others are finished
@fraukewiese okay thanks for getting back to me. Would you be okay with me assigning this submission to you at this time, and that we'll leave this "waitlisted" such that you'll start once you've finished processing one of the other submissions?
@fraukewiese do you mind if I assign this one to you now, and that you pick it up once you are ready?
@editorialbot invite @crvernon as editor
