@RMeli this one has been waiting quite a while. Is it a submission you could help with?
In addition, your recent (past year) association with the same organization of a submitter is a COI, for example, being employed at the same institution.
Does this COI is also valid for editors? I'm employed at the same institution as most of the authors (ETH Zurich).
Yes, it is. (and btw, I'm at ETH Zürich now 😄)

Hello @pliang279, Would you be interested in reviewing the submission “AQCNES: A Quasi-Continuum Non-Equilibrium Solver”, which we received at JOSS? The link for the submission is https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/6730, and the repository is at https://gitlab.ethz.ch/mechanics-and-materials/aqcnes.
If you are unfamiliar with JOSS, the review process is unique: it takes place in a GitHub issue, is open, and encourages author-reviewer-editor conversations. You can have a look at our review criteria (https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/review_criteria.html) and review checklist (https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/review_checklist.html) to get an idea of what is expected.
If you are unavailable, feel free to suggest one of your colleagues from the MultiBench project.

Hi Philip, I'm sorry, but I am coming to the end of my postdoc this week and am still scrambling in my job search at this time. I'm afraid I just don't have the time and energy for a review right now. Once things settle down in a few weeks or so I will be happy to review for JOSS in the future.

There seems to be some commonality with your Cabana library.
Happy to review!
