Hi @aunyks, unfortunately we do not have any editors available to handle your submission at the moment, so I have place this on our waitlist. In the meantime, any reviewer recommendations would be welcome (but please don't tag/request folks directly).
I believe the paper compilation error is due to the missing but required affiliation
field for your author entry; even if unaffiliated, the field is required, but you can have an "Independent researcher, location" or similar entry as in the example paper.
@editorialbot invite @prashjha as editor
Hi @prashjha, can you edit this submission? Thanks!
Invitation to edit this submission sent!
@aunyks please address the issue with the paper compilation that I pointed out above—we'll need to resolve this before your submission can move into review.
@kyleniemeyer, thanks for the invitation. I have five papers in hand, but I'm happy to help with this one.
@editorialbot assign me as editor
Assigned! @prashjha is now the editor
Hi @aunyks, could you please look at the JOSS reviewer database and suggest a few names who can review your submission?
Thank you @prashjha!
Hey @prashjha! Yes I'll give it a look. Will update you here.
@prashjha I think @SamMachariaPhD, @Huzaifg, and @matael may feel comfortable reviewing this work. Although this isn't directly related to their previous research areas or programming languages of choice, I feel their familiarity with physics simulation make them the best candidates here.
I'm also open to other suggestions, should anyone have any.
Hey all! I am happy to review this submission :) I think I will have time sometime next week to give this a shot!
@Huzaifg great. Thank you for your positive response. We need one more reviewer to start the review.
Howdy @SamMachariaPhD and @matael, would you be interested in reviewing this submission for JOSS? I will be happy to help with more details.
