Possibly - I can ask...
I think this might be complicated. Do we just want GitHub to list ORCIDs? Or to verify them? Or to be able to push to ORCID? Or do we (JOSS) want to be able to push to ORCID?
Or do we (JOSS) want to be able to push to ORCID?
I think this is the most realistic in the short term and would be a big win for all.
@arfon any updates on this? Over at https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/3736 a reviewers asked about reviews/ORCID.

No progress sorry. Crossref does post information about the papers authors publish with us directly to their ORCID profiles (provided they have supplied an ORCID with their author metadata).
@arfon I'm currently looking for infomation on how to update my ORCID for a JOSS review. Is there any update or information on this topic?
There is not sorry. I think you can probably manually associate your ORCID record with your reviews but this isn't something we automatically do.
Thank you @arfon for your prompt reply. Unfortunately no ORCID user can do this manually (for peer-reviews) as mentioned in the ORCID documention https://support.orcid.org/hc/en-us/articles/360006971333-Peer-Reviews. Since this is (still) a topic from 2020, I thought that there would be a solution. Nevertheless, it is possible for authors of a JOSS paper .. I don't understand what is the big difference ...
Given GitHub profiles now include ORCID id, it should be possible to automate it. A cron job which runs periodically pulls and push the data reviewer data with ORCID.
If we became a member of ORCID we could post information about the papers directly to their API and update the ORCID record of the authors.
Additionally, we could add the reviews to reviewer ORCID profiles too. 👈 This would require us to have a record of the reviewer ORCID (which we currently don't).
As we develop the JOSS reviewer management system we should add the ability of reviewers to include their ORCID.
