Author comments not working on submitted papers

When I try to comment on my own papers (i.e. papers I submitted as an author), the comment window appears, but the marker in the text doesn't show up. Then, when I leave the paper and come back to it later, the comment itself has disappeared -- though the number of issues on the paper still reflects the existence of the comment. Reproduced this in Firefox and Chrome.

Yes. Here's what I see.

This should be fixed. Can you test and close it.

This is mostly fixed, but not entirely. The only thing missing is the marker in the text for a comment. It still doesn't show up when I make a new comment -- but if I navigate away from the paper and then come back to it, the marker appears. Console logs below.
