Hi Owen,
The reason I cloned it was that I didn't want to break any existing external links to /wyager/PyLeapMouse (of which there are several). Cloning is a pretty ugly way to do it, and I obviously forgot to update it... Is there any way to make /wyager/PyLeapMouse and /openleap/PyLeapMouse point to the same thing? Sorry, this is the first project I've put on github. Still figuring it out!
Thanks, Will
What several other projects did was to transfer the project (making it openleap/PyLeapMouse) and then create a new one (which would be wyager/PyLeapMouse) with the sole contents of the new repo wyager/PyLeapMouse being a link to the new repo (something along the lines of "PyLeapMouse has moved! See it here: ..."
Done!
Awesome! Do you want admin rights?
Yes, please.
They've been granted!
Hey @wyager!
This is an awesome project! I remember you recently asked me about it and OpenLeap.
Unfortunately, it looks like you cloned it (rather than transferred it) to OpenLeap. If this was because you don't know how (the process isn't all that intuitive) an explanation is available at https://developer.leapmotion.com/forums/forums/projects-and-collaborations/topics/leap-open-source-github midway down the page.
If this was because you wanted admin rights, fear not! You can transfer a repo to OpenLeap and still have complete admin rights (which include the option to transfer the repo back to yourself if you so choose.) Just email openleap@outlook.com to get them!
I've deleted the clone so now you can transfer this repo at will.
Thanks, Owen
