I like the GSP model, but I want to use the CC license which allows commercial use. Works from the GSP model are released under a non-commercial CC license. I want to go back to the original taxonomy, and use the CC commercial license to allow more widespread adoption of what's created with Open Competencies. I'll write up the rationale for this further when the first round of PR and soliciting feedback happens, but it parallels the reasons for choosing MIT over GPL.
Also, I think this is going to be applicable to more than just schools. So I'd like to revert to a taxonomy that is more knowlege and understanding-centric, and less school-centric.
