I'm afraid, I cannot be much of help.
The problem with the missing OLy button has been fixed by a user on extensions.libreoffice.org and I've created a new release 0.5.7 that integrates his solution: https://github.com/openlilylib/LO-ly/releases/tag/0.5.7
Unfortunately, I have absolutely no knowledge about MacOS.

Maybe this is where you will find people who can understand your issue and help to find a solution. If there is anything I can include into a following OLy Release, I will gladly do so. But I'm not able to help on Mac-related topics on my own. Je suis vraiment désolé...

Hello, I try to install OOoLilypond, but the button Oly doesn't appear. I can launch it in "Tools", "Adds-On", when "OOoLilypond". But a windows display (immediately after) :
"Erreur d'execution du BASIC Une exception s'est produite, Type : com.sun.star.ucb.NameClashException Message : folder exists and overwrite forbidden"
I tried to re-install with the instruction on Scores of Beauty, but the installation doesn't work as it should. I work on MacOS Sierra. If you know why it doesn't work, please help me.
