Just had a closer look at this option for the first time. :)
(That code has been written by Samuel, the original author of OLy, not by me.)
It is not meant to distinguish between errors, warnings etc. as the name might suggest.
If there has been any message (error, warning, ...) during score compilation, the OLy editor window can remain open, display the message and set the cursor to the corresponding position in the Ly code window (box unchecked),
or it can close and ignore those messages (box checked).
IMO, that makes more sense than treating those message classes in different ways. There is an opportunity to simplify the code, maybe even the chance to speed up macro execution to a small extent.
It seems most reasonable to me to rename that option to avoid misunderstandings.
Maybe "Ignore warnings and errors"...
