Do make sure you have the correct codec setup in asterisk sip.conf extension
settings.
Try using ulaw as the codec. Refer link below:

That's why the red5phone-r53 version have problem.
It's not tested.
Please use the lower version.
I have not used r-54 version yet.
I am using r-49 version. It's ok.

where do i find the r-49 ? i do not see it in the download list. i am having
trouble with voice [completely silent].
however, it could be due to my lack of knowledge in this matter:
my setup is like this:
red5 : v1.0 RC1 , running on all default ports
red5phone: r-54
asterisk and red5 are installed on the same machine.
flex phone setup:
- login: xxx
- password: xxx
- sip realm: asterisk
- sip server: localhost
- sip proxy: localhost
- red5 url : rtmp:/sip [this is where i am really confused]
and i am not getting any audio in any direction. the registration and calling
works fine.

Hi,
I am also having the same issue. I am able to make call once but there is no
sound either way. Also if I disconnect the call from one end but still it shows
call established state only. So I cant make call again.
Any help here will be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
