A major application of OM should be to write texts /essays /documents, while on the fly drag&drop extracts in. Like google docs this should be an easy to use text editor, which allows for multiple authors to work on the same document.

The great advantage over other documents or traditional papers is that you can build an argument based on single evidences that are immediately available to the reader by mouse over.

OM2

This allows to break down very complex topics to the key elements and take the reader by the hand to understand it bit by bit. It may convince even great skeptics who themselves would never search for the paper, download & open it, to look for the respective evidence or figure that challenges their view.

It should be possible to export the document as PDF/word/pages by selecting a preferred format/style for the references (e.g., Author, Paper, journal, doi, Figure 4a).
