I want to have a more plausible driver model

In order to

• generate plausible, realistic velocity profile incl. acceleration and deceleration process
• analyse the powertrain requirements
• simulate realistic emission profiles

Acceptance criteria

• list about criterion for unrealistic velocity profile or structure of realistic driver model
• lower emergency brake decisions in real traffic conditions, especially with red traffic light
• driver behaviour is depending on scenario, e.g. in city or highway, at intersection without traffic light, close to blitz ...
• The other driver types e.g. foresighted, cooperative, should be able to build up.

Generally also interesting for Vector.

E.g. "quick" generation of a scenario on a motorway with a blocked lane is not possible, as lane-changing in that area is not realistic, vehicles get stuck, etc.

However, I want to remind of the difficulties that Prof. Vortisch outlined in his keynote at the Sumo Conference. There might be a trade-off between individual behavior and overall traffic representation.

We need to find out here what is possible with paramterization of current models (especially Krauss and IDM which are best supported) or whether we need a new model.
