KeyLess API is now deprecated #3

"Keyless access to Google Maps Platform is deprecated. Please use an API key with all your API calls to avoid service interruption. For further details please refer to http://g.co/dev/maps-no-account"

As of June 11, 2018, you must enable billing with a credit card and have a valid API key for all of your projects. This will give you the ability to scale easily with less downtime and fewer performance issues. In addition, we’ve simplified our 18 individual APIs into three products: Maps, Routes, and Places.

Who do I contact in the time being to have my dns server manually added?

There was a note about this on the mailing list over the weekend. One promising solution I found is that GeoNames offers free download of their daily database, which means we can make the queries locally without having to rely on an API.

Unfortunately I've been sick a couple days this week and haven't had a chance to try building the database. Hopefully in the next few days I can put together some code and see if this solution will work.

@Shdwdrgn Whatever your plan is I am willing to try and help. My php skills are mediocre but I was going to try and implement this Nominatim for you. Either way, I hope you choose what is best.

Hope you feel better too!!!

Thanks, Austin
