Luis - RMS manager at OFD Company called First Watch, mines all RMS calls data. Accident cause and health/injury source is in MDMS for medical data.

Fields: Long: Longitude lat - Latitude INICIDENT: ID number - multiple vehicles per incident are common DATE: Incident date TRUCK: Vehicle ID. E & T indicate an engine, B is the battalion chief. RECEIVE: Call received, screening and location gathered DISPATCH: Notice issued to units to respond RESPONSE: Vehicle leaves the station or another location ON_SCENE: Vehicle on scene and beginning work INCIDENT_TYPE: What type of response is this AVAIL: Vehicle available for next call LOCATION: street address

Data Split for all calls and just structural fires.

Initial time series map of individual fire incidents. filtered by the first vehicle to arrive on scene only and just structure fires only. Demo

Next steps of inquiry- connect to county parcel data to see relationship to building age etc.

You think we could Mike Flowers this bad boy? I bet we could connect with that team with their data requirements/strategy. I think the big drive they found was tax liens, and it would be really interesting if that generalized to these types of fire incidents in Alameda County.
