I recently made https://github.com/ngoldman/open-2-contributing based off of a CONTRIBUTING.md I saw in one of @rvagg's repos, not realizing this was a thing. It looks like http://openopensource.github.io didn't get much past the domain purchasing stage though (also http://openopensource.org is not resolving right now :cry:). I'm happy to merge projects or kill my thing and open a PR or whatever you think makes the most sense.

Looks like http://openopensource.org/ is back up. My CONTRIBUTING.md template has diverged a bit from this so I'll just rename mine and give credit and link back here. :100:
