2) Chemical Structure column moved first having the chemical structures as first column would also be very nice; some software packages we are using even demand this and assume automatically that the first column contains the chemical structures

Doable, the current implementation of the dynamicgrid2 widget just adds the columns in random order. Either we fix them all but that constrains changes to the underlaying coreAPI methods or we just force the "Structure" column to be first while all other columns come in random order. When we get to more final forms we should lock all columns into a fixed order but not yet. I will look at a solution.
