Proposed improvements to app #165

I'd like to suggest a couple of improvements to the dependency installing application included in this package.

  1. (see below) The UI could use some white space. The repo and host fields are not visible on load and the top section is so small scrolling is difficult.
  2. It would be nice to have the current repository and branch already filled in on app load.
