List items on the map
Place items on the map (pos + orientation)

For TMNext specifically, I would also be interested in the API for skinning items.

As an update to my previous comment, item skinning methods were added to the official game API in the december 2022 update. However these are not currently usable from openplanet scripts because the item objects you need to pass into the methods are stored in a nodpool (#219)
