JP2 (JPEG 2000 Part 1) validator and properties extractor. Jpylyzer was specifically created to check that a JP2 file really conforms to the format's specifications. Additionally jpylyzer is able to extract technical characteristics.

I created the pull request on the new branch created by you.
I have kept the wrap as implied when running with recurse, as running on multiple files needs to produce a valid xml, as you said, and the output validates against the schema.
