Add documentation generations helper functions #9

Created a PR for this so I don't forget that it exists

@KaiWaldrant : if you add these functions, can you verify that they work with the format used by https://github.com/openproblems-bio/task_predict_modality ?

Also, I think it makes sense not to export every function, but only the functions that are needed when rendering the website / readme
