Currently the app is only available in English. In the long run we want the user-interface and system messages being available in multiple languages.

We therefore need a flexible, yet lightweight i18n implementation for

backend - system messages, notifications and error, messages
frontend - user interface, labels, titles, texts

I would exclude for now:

user documentation
