Our community aims to public understanding of quantum computing. We are going to develop some libraries and compilers for quantum computing. Actually, we also make quantum compiler based on LLVM for RISC-V platform now on. Our activity has not expanded for the other programming languages. We are behind in python development as you assume. Our community considers your project activity is worth. Then we have a suggestion that we have plan to collaborate with you to maintain the openql project on PyPI. I will set you and someone you need as collaborators of the openql name on pypi if you don't mind. If you accept it, we can also disseminate your activity widely using our website openql.org or SNS. Additionally would you let us allow to use your components as our educational material to help our understanding if possible? We appreciate your consideration to expand the field of quantum computing in advance.

I was wondering if you are willing to transfer the ownership of the openql name on pypi to the maintainers of https://github.com/QuTech-Delft/OpenQL ? It seems that the openql pypi package has had no release in the past 4 years and it doesn't contain any actual functionality. So we believe the python community is better served if the openql name on pypi is transferred to https://github.com/QuTech-Delft/OpenQL which is still actively developed.
