NCL colormaps? #11

Hi all 👋🏻 ! Really glad to see this package!

We've been thinking about this problem as well over on NCAR's GeoCAT projects as we transition from NCL to Python. While we have a solution for the time being to access old colormaps from NCL, we're looking for something more robust and sustainable.

If you're open, I'd love to see if we might be able to move some of these colormaps over to cmweather. Particularly the ones that are not available elsewhere in the scientific python ecosystem and might be applicable for weather (and climate?) applications.

Bit of context: I chatted with @mgrover1 a bit about this at SciPy. It sounds like it might be best to give you all a bit of time to get established before thinking about moving anything over, but I wanted to at least get the conversation started. In the meantime, I'll be going through the NCL colormaps to see which might be good candidates.

I should also add that I'd be excited to help with the overall effort here as well 😄 .
