Please press Shift-F5 until "DEBUG INFORMATION" appears in the HUD and take a screenshot. This will help us to see what is going on.
Also, please try out the latest experimental build from the Open Rails website, as it will have more information and may have different performance.

Tried the screenshot, but that doesn't seem to work properly, so I manually copied all the Debug information:

Print Screen will save a picture for you, and tell you where it saved it (unless you are full screen on certain graphics drivers, which override it and only copy to clipboard). Did it not save a file or copy to the clipboard?
Thanks for the data. It seems like the limiting factor may be the GPU.
You can try turning down the world density level (like in MSTS), or the viewing distance (may need the experimental release for that option to be visible).

Does the problem still happen with version 1.4?

[Expired for Open Rails because there has been no activity for 60 days.]
Imported from https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1231784
I am reading many accounts of folks getting 50+ FPS with OR. I am barely managing to get 30, regardless of the route or equipment being run.
Computer specs as follows:
HP -112y 8 GB RAM 512 MB Graphics RAM. ATI Raedon 4300 series
