One other issue regarding this cabview has just reared its head. The speed values are way off, in some cases by a factor of two. At the times this was occurring, we were experiencing wheelslip. Perhaps this has something to do with it.

After some testing, it is true that the apprent problem of incorrect speed readings was a result of wheelslip. Thus, the only problem with the cabview is one of fonts.

I agree - this appears to be exactly the problem I am having with this particular cabview.

MSTS cab views do not support variable font sizes; there is only 1 size and OR is using it. If this cab view needs you to customise MSTS's global cab view font size, then the cab view is the problem here.

The attached screen shot shows the moderately large font in this cabview. The cabview is freeware and can be downloaded from Trainsim.com. The file name is: newes44cab.zip. A patch issued after the original file is: newes44cabpatch1.zip. I have observed the same font size in other cabviews by the author of the view described in this bug report.
