I mistyped my summary above it is the powered (user driven) consist that become invisible.

An update, after more tests: If the powered consist drops its second trolley car first, so that there is only one powered trolley picking up the two-car consist, the pickup appears to proceed normally - no vanishing, loss of power, etc. (BTW - the activity runs fine under MSTS.) Sid P.

An update, running X1954: Same behavior, but now with Dispatch Viewer: shows that both the player consist and the parked consist disappear from the Viewer display.

After switching to manual mode and backing into a siding to couple to a pair of electric trolley cars, the coupled cars become invisible. This behavior seems to be limited to these cars, at least in my system. See the video: http://home.cogeco.ca/~srphhpdl/OpenRails/OR_Invisible_Consist.wmv
Route: Surfliner 1 (This is the Freeware version from Trainsim.com: surfliner.zip 07-02-2009) OR Version: Version X1812 (Release 0.9 shows the same behavior, as do versions at least as far back as X1719) Activity: A simple activity for "Surfliner 1" using electric trolley cars, to demonstrate the behavior. All of the trolley cars are identical. Cars: Available on TrainSim as vatset1.zip
