Account for all the moving parts and then publish as simple walkthrough and guide.

what's the progress on this. When can we expect a guide. We have been trying to use http://miami.open.211.developer.adopta.agency/ but not successful yet (we keep getting 404). The guide will be really useful.

Thanks for checking in! @kinlane is working on the specs, though in a volunteer capacity. This particular objective may be pending approval of HSDA 2.0, and we don't have a set timeline for that. In the coming quarter, if all goes well!

That said, I'd be glad to connect and discuss and see how we might provide guidance in the meantime.

So we are shelterApp developers (Non Profit organization) creating an mobile app for unhoused communities in USA. We are looking for which resources in miami area are available which we can list in our app. However bunch of our software volunteers couldn't get past the 404 error from api link : http://miami.open.211.developer.adopta.agency/ , if we can somehow get access to the data we should be unblocked.

That's interesting. I'd be concerned about the prospect of scraping shelter information from the web at scale because shelters especially often don't have much information online, and the information that is online can be pretty unstructured and confusing. Many cities require prospective clients to go through a gateway of some sorts first, so information about individual shelters isn't actually useful. How are you all coping with the data reliability challenge?

ps the Miami Open211 was a pilot project, the org subsequently went through leadership transition and the API isn't currently in operation.
