As schema.org is a widely applicable standard it would be great to see this added to the documentation. This has already been suggested in https://github.com/codeforamerica/OpenReferral/issues/67#issuecomment-70290794.

Flagging this as help-wanted.

Using the updated datapackage.json it should be possible to go through and identify any fields that map to schema.org. We could consider doing that directly within the datapackage.json, or in a separate mapping file.

@timgdavies do you know of a way to officially document "similar" types in a datapackage.json? I cannot see something like that in the JSON Schema or datapackage specs.
