While reviewing merge #665, I observed that this relationship is apparently obsolete, per ontobee: http://www.ontobee.org/ontology/OBI?iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/OBI_0000306
The usage tab in Protege tells me this relationship is used over 150 times in VIVO-ISF.
The editor's note indicates that it has been replaced by BFO_0000085, but this seems to be an error (http://www.ontobee.org/ontology/BFO?iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/BFO_0000085 is not found). I think http://www.ontobee.org/ontology/RO?iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/RO_0000085 is what's intended.
Do we have any best practices/processes/procedures for updating ontologies when terms become obsolete?
