Software code as a publication in VIVO #735

As a software code can be also published and have authors as well as other properties and relations, which are typical for a publication, I would propose either to create a new class :SoftwareCode, which is a subClass of bibo:Document or to provide obo:Software with some publication's properties.

Impact Low

The assertions described cannot currently be made in VIVO, so regardless of implementation strategy, existing data, and queries are not affected. A small software change will be needed to display the new assertions properly.
