Problem with date charts #71

The date graphs are all coming out as barcodes outside the chart.

same here. I thought that we could maybe flip the axes (i.e, date on x-axis and count on y-axis) and use something like date_concise_formatter for the x-axis so not every date is shown? see https://matplotlib.org/stable/gallery/ticks/date_concise_formatter.html
