Rough Decision
We’ve decided to not provide a development environment for writing Stata code.
We will support the use of Stata via opensafely run within the dev container environment.
Rough Consequences
Only a very small number of researchers use Stata at the moment, most of them use R, so we believe this will have a no, or a very minimal impact, on researchers.
