Why package is needed:
To enable gt() tables to be saved as .png files via the gtsave() function. This, in turn, will enable tables to be rendered as images in markdown files, improving readability in OpenSAFELY reports.
Although the webshot package is already available, gtsave() requires the webshot2 package, as described here.
