User Requirements
This codelist aims to identify patients who have Post COVID-19 condition during a hospital admission. This will be used to identify people with "long COVID" in their medical record.
Inclusion Criteria for Codes
There is one ICD10 to identify post COVID-19 condition as per WHO guidelines which is U09.9.
The code B94.8 (“Sequelae of other specified infectious and parasitic diseases”) is also included because U09.9 was not available until October 2021. Previous research from the US shows the replacement of B94.8 with U09.9 over time.
