Discussion over email with @ianjdouglas - summarised here:

Reviewing transplant codes and have been including bone marrow/stem cell, given risk of immunosuppression.

I think that what we want is solid-organ transplant as bone marrow transplant / stem cell will be included within the immunosuppression covariate and we don't want them in there twice. @alexwalkercebm has been coordinating with @hmcd about this in more detail here (#60). Can I just confirm that this is what we have been thinking?

Hello, yes, bone marrow/stem cell are included as a separate group.

CODE LISTS: FINAL CODE LIST: - OrganTransplant-final1.xlsx

STEP 1 Code list available in Read V2 from LSHTM: organ_tx_simple_July18.xlsx

STEP 2 Add QOF by @ianjdouglas Codes from QoF - Caroline, these include bone marrow, is that ok? Would be good for you to have a quick sense check to make sure this is as you'd hoped. transplant qof.xlsx Following agreement to exclude bone marrow/stem cell, have deleted those terms and added a comment for terms I think are too vague. Have also excluded terms for corneal, bone, fetus, skin, bone and blood vessels. solid organ transplant qof.xlsx

STEP 3: by @ianjdouglas Snomed codes here - would be good to have a quick call about the browser to make sure I've got the hang of it... Snomed transplant1.xlsx
