This and another PR #89 are aiming for the same wish @ca-d. When outside of OpenSCD there is a need to push more than doc, docName, docs and editCount to the plugins and the question is how to do do. Or in other words @pascalwilbrink is looking for ways to add a bit more flexibility here to pass other properties to plugins.
