Export .iid/.cid #361

Hi, As a user; I want to export individual IED SCL files from the project in order to integrate these files to my engineering workflow for different usecases.

Thank you for this contribution. We need to be able to export such files of course if we want to be part of the engineering process. For now we are working heavily to be able to "touch" all important elements of an SCL file with OpenSCD. Do you have something where you require this feature right now already? Do you do system engineering with OpenSCD already?

It is just a small part the customer needs to export individual cid/iid and send back to IED only the changes he made for RCB Client LN assignment to be represented in the cid/iid as well. Workaround is he goes back to SCT and does it there but this is too much hassle for him, once he did the Client LN assignment in OpenSCD why to go back to SCT for just export step.

This is the story.

I see. But again I must be honest with you. This is not a small thing to implement and my guess is around Feb next year :(

We would have a use for this with the current software for GE devices (Enervista 8.3) which will only do SV configuration from an IID/CID/ICD file:
