When new issues are created in any OpenSearch repo, we add an "untriaged" label that helps us see issues that we haven't looked at yet. Then, we review them weekly to make sure we understand them ande that there is no security issue being reported. Once untriaged, they may stay untouched for any amount of time as long as it's not a major security concern.
