In section "Deploy Sample Application" it states:

"OpenShift Pipelines automatically adds and configures a ServiceAccount named pipeline that has sufficient permissions to build and push an image. This service account will be used later in the tutorial."

When the Pipeline is created and then tkn pipeline start ... there is an error at the build-image stage:

[build-image : build] + buildah --storage-driver=overlay bud --format=oci --tls-verify=true --no-cache -f ./Dockerfile -t image-registry.openshift-image-registry.svc:5000/pipelines-tutorial/pipelines-vote-api .

Also had the same issue, on OpenShift 4.6. Error when building the image.

update: Seems you need to change the "--tls-verify true" flag from "true" to "false", within the "buildah --storage-driver vfs bud --tls-verify false \" command of the pipeline task.
