Why does the Analytics and Planner UI look so different? #3214

Open rgarg1 opened 6 years ago

rgarg1 commented 6 years ago

The Analytics report UI and Planner UI appear to be from two different tools, with no similarity between each other.

For OSIO users, this would come as a shock as they expect the look an feel to be consistent between different OSIO pages.

I believe a UX audit of OSIO and redesign (if deemed necessary) is the need of the hour.

@rgarg1, we are working on standardizing the UI and experience... (it may be in 'J' train time frame) meanwhile, can you provide some more details on the look & feel differences? Please provide screenshots that would help UI/UX team to understand better.

@rgarg1, We (UXD) made some UX enhancement under #4191 Here is the design, please review and close this issue if it is addressed in #4191 https://redhat.invisionapp.com/share/2MO880J6SUZ#/screens/322787870

This will be considered to be addressed as part of L Train, but not before.

@rgarg1, IMO: 1) We are enhancing the entire experience with PF4 implementation. [refer the new IA of OSIO proposed by Serena] 2) Considering the current prioritization, do you want to keep this issue open?
