Query Uses Term "Number" When Referring To The ID Column #4222

Open tinakurian opened 6 years ago

tinakurian commented 6 years ago
Issue Overview

When using query in order to find a work item by "id" the user must type "number." For instance number: 1

This is not intuitive since there is no column titled "number"

Expected Behaviour

Expected that the user would type in "number" if there was a column titled "number" or, the "id" since there is currently a column titled "id"

Current Behaviour

Currently, the column is titled "id" and the user must type "number"

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Go to: https://openshift.io/openshiftio/Openshift_io/plan/query
  2. type in number:1

@Veethika Related to https://github.com/openshiftio/openshift.io/issues/4629 as the query builder is still in the design process.

@Veethika please be sure to include this as part of #4629

Based on a conversation held on 2019-Jan-04 including Dev, PM and UX, the UX team will not be providing support for planner items. Closing this issue since this was solely around gathering requirements.
