polygon does not appear on map after you clear selected geometry #66

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a geometry in Select Area
  2. refresh the page
  3. clear selected geometry
  4. Try to draw a new polygon - it shows selected area but does not display as a layer on the map
  5. Refreshing the page again displays the centered polygon properly

clicking on "Visualize" after this bug pops up brings up a broken visualize screen as well
